MLK Day at Cedar Sinai Park

1,200 students from 8 area colleges and 5 participating organizations rallied on the PSU campus, took a lottery card and headed out for a community service project at 31 sites around the Portland area.

The site for Project #16 was Cedar Sinai Park. A total of 14 students pulled ivy and clear garbage off the Al Lewin Legacy Trail here on our campus.  Students were from Lewis & Clark, Linnfield, George Fox University, Concordia, PCC and PSU.

Graced with no rain and a sunny day, student volunteers worked for over 2 hours.

Afterwards, they enjoyed our yummy homemade chocolate chocolate chip cookies with their lunch.
